Too Many Projects

I had no idea that when I started knitting I wouldn't be able to stop. I still haven't finished my very first project: a scarf knitted in Hogwarts' Gryffindor colors. But right now I have about five projects going on. I'll finish them some time I swear it. I am taking a class on needle felting. I wish I hadn't paid to take the class because, as it turns out, I'm a more experienced knitter than the instructor and the other woman in the class. Seems a little odd to me. Well, none the less, I'm working on felting this purse for this class. It didn't turn out exactly the way it should have, but then I don't felt all my projects. I like to see the stitches. This purple purse is the product of my needle felting class. I'm starting another one in a different color though to see if it felts properly. Who knows what my next project will be. I have got to make myself finish my other projects before I move on. I hate having unfinished projects.

My first posting

Okay, a little background first. I have become a very obsessed knitter. I started knitting in December '04 and haven't been able to control my knitting urges since. I fondle yarn whenever I'm close to it and fawn over book I check out at the library, which is never less than three. My delay for starting this was because I wanted to display my work and I had no digital camera with which to do it. But, thankfully, my husband and I got one as a wedding gift and I am proud to say it's getting good use. Of course, my hushand rolled his eyes when I said I was starting a blog. :) I'm just excited I get to share my novice escapades with other, more experienced, knitters. I know not everyone will be interested in my blog, but that does not deter my efforts. I am "The Obsessed Knitter".
